Morven Guest House at Workington is a late Victorian detached villa with paddock North West of the town centre of Workington. Comfortable room's, relaxed informal atmosphere for guests whether you are a business visitor, cyclist, walker or a tourist visiting the Western Lake District and Coast.
The Proprietor Mrs Caroline Nelson has lived here many years and is very sincere towards the welfare of the guests, this is recognised with the amount of repeat business.
Bedrooms are all en-suite, some ground floor bedrooms are available for the less agile. Sleep in comfort and enjoy an appetising breakfast (early breakfast on request).
We are near the start of the c2c cycle route, also an ideal stop over for participants of the Reivers route the Cumbrian circular cycle way. We are also on route of the world famous Hadrian's cycle way that runs at the side of the garden. walkers are very welcome. We are also on the Cumbrian Coastal Way popular with locals and visitors.
Car parking and very secure cycle storage is provided, you may leave your car until you return if you wish. A convenient location for the towns of Workington, Maryport, Whitehaven and Cockermouth close to the Dun mail park shopping centre and plaza multi-screen cinema. We are on the bus route close to a bus stop, the buses are very regular.
Morven Guest House provides bed and breakfast all through the year has open aspects and sea views to the rear. You may arrive any time after 4pm, please indicate arrival time if possible when booking; check out time is 10am on day of departure.
We have a no smoking policy, smokers may do so outside, you may bring pets on condition they are kept in their owner's cars overnight on the car park.
